State championships day.
Even though us winning this made me smile:
What made me happy was seeing all of our friends from other clubs at the races. Walking around the site was like going to a reunion, and if felt so good to see everyone’s faces, to talk and laugh and hang out, to share food and drinks with them, never mind if it was just water and juice, it made my heart smile.
And then, spending time with our family afterwards: mom, dad, sisters, brothers, kids, filled my heart to the point that it’s still overflowing. Such a wonderful, beautiful day. I feel very blessed and I am so thankful for days like today.
