I’ve been wanting to say that for days, but on top of the hardcore cleaning that my family and I “like” to do (something I learned from my Hawaiian grandparents who wanted their house to sparkle before every new year) our power went out, and the Internet threw in its panties right along with it. It’s all ‘g’ though (yeah I’m showing my age, but so what gonfunnit?) the high winds that we got the other night brought us this:

And the power going out? Meh, it wasn’t that bad. We played ‘can’t-catch-me’ with the dull rays of our flashlights, listened to the oldest boy play music and giggled about silly things most of the night. Times like that make me appreciate the simple things in life.
Anywho, I wish you the best year ever and hope that you keep on pushing to do all the things you set out to do this year.
Aloha and Hau’oli Makahiki Hou!
