but uh… I will. My team and I, with the help of the best coach I’ve ever had (no offense to my old coaches) took the lead by 10 seconds and won first place at our regatta. That’s me in seat 2 high fiving our amazing stroker.

*Happy dance, happy dance*

This was our third regatta and I’ll be honest, we went in as the underdogs. The sleepers. The non-threatening ones no one thought anything of.

We’ve all been working really hard and it feels so good to know that the amount of time and effort we’re all putting in is paying off.

It also helps to have the trust, guidance, support, and advice of our coach/teacher, and all the help a couple of us have been getting from the masters women have been making us better too.

I’m proud of us.

Just wanted to share this beaming moment in my life.
